Romssa (the Samí name of Tromsø) with surroundings is a sea Samí area, traditional reindeer pasture and a modern indigenous city. Within the larger basic Samí landscape sights and architectural expressions form a network with long temporal lines and duration in a part of Europe that the World Wildlife Fond defines as the continents last wilderness.
”Tromsø has become an arena for students of indigenous origin from the whole world.”
